Located conveniently just off the A66 on the main road into Keswick from Penrith take the Keswick turning from the A66 and follow the road to the A591. Cobble Cottage is on the left immediately after the Twa Dogs Inn.

Electric Car Charging

There is a 24/7 electric car charging point (InstaVolt) in the Booths Supermarket car park

Parking for Cobble Cottage is on-street, there is usually sufficient parking and we have never had an issue. In the event you can’t park on the road there is always space on Latrigg Close which is 30s walk from Cobble Cottage.

Locally when out and about, Keswick can be busy for parking. On street parking is controlled with ‘Disc Zones’, a disc can be found in your guest information pack or at the Tourist information centre in central Keswick. Please return to the pack on your departure.

Train

The nearest train station is Penrith. Penrith is about 25-30mins drive away. Taxis will pick up outside the station and the journey costs approximately £40.

Bus

There is a bus stop directly outside Brigham Row. The X4/5 travels between Cockermouth and Penrith.

Cobble Cottage sits just off the Keswick-Threlkeld cycle pathway and so is on the National Cycle Network (Route 71)

There are a number of good l, reliable taxi firms in both Penrith and Keswick numbers of which can be found on Google. Locally Davies Taxis we have found to be excellent.
