The fuse box is located in the cupboard above the door. Please do not open unless the fuse trips. 

The Gas main can be found behind the TV, the gas shut valve is on the left of the meter for any emergencies.

The main stopcock for the cottage is behind the bins under the sink (it looks like a tap). The water main for the cottage is outside the front door but this won't need to be accessed.

There are smoke and cabon monoxide detectors in the living rooom and upstairs hall, there is a heat detector in the kitchen. There is plug-in emergency lighting in every room and dining room. There is a multi-use extinguisher in the understairs cupboard and a fire blanket under the sink. There is also a fire guard stored beneath the stairs.

The cottage has never flooded despite some very severe flooding in Keswick in recent history. Household flood plan can be found here. In the event of flooding a flood resilliance kit is available at the property.

A small first aid kit (BS8599-1 compliant) can be found under the stairs, please let us know i you use any items so they can be quickly re-stocked.
