We have central heating throughout controlled by a Hive Heating System, the thermostat for which can be ound on the table with your welcome pack. The user guide is linked below however the heating is set to be on for when you arrive, then to 20 degrees between 6:30-8:30 am and 4:30-10 pm. If you want it warmer turn the dial to the right. Radiators can be manually adjusted using the valves on the side.

We have a combi-boiler so hot water is on demand and you should have no issues. The towel rail can be switched on with the button outside the bathroom (it glows blue), keep pressing for the desired time. Please do not attempt to adjust the rail controls themselves (on the base of the towel rail)

Please enjoy the wood burner in the sitting room. We have left enough wood for your first fire, further logs and kindling can be bought from the Shell garage next door. See the page on house instruction manuals for the stove speciic information. For your safety we have provided two flame resistant gloves and an ash bin. There is also a fire guard stored under the stairs.

Cobble Cottage has energy saving lighting and heating throughout. We try to save as much water as possible whilst still keeping a luxurious feel. All our recommendations involve you shopping as locally, and using local produce as much as practicable. Naturally we would encourage you to save energy where you cam without it affecting your holiday!
